20 | Four Seasons Hemet Herald | FEBRUARY 2026 | At our January meeting, our PAWS Team announced plans for January through March. Here's a highlight of most; for each, details will be announced in PAWS email communications to members. Still Continuing: Our monthly club meetings are the second Thursday at 2 pm. Typically, meetings are held in the Ballroom, but location will depend on the theme of that meeting. Some meetings will be more club-business-focused, while others may offer a special theme or event – some even off-site. Our January meeting featured Mayor Max of Idyllwild! Pet Care Community Day with Technique Services is now operating monthly on the second Sunday of the month. Launching January - March: Pet Family Database (Launched) – For Four Seasons family pets and their owners Our most important project is to help save our beloved family pets! Anyone's pet can get loose. Our database will store provided family pet information (along with Microchip# and photo) and your contact info. When we're notified of a found pet, we attempt to scan it for a chip. Whether chipped or not, we'll look to our database to attempt to reunite with the family, based on pet's chip (if found), pet photo, and other descriptors. Pet Resource Directory (Upgraded & Updated): Our Pet Resource Directory is being updated with current information for pet resources such as hospitals, veterinarians, hospice, Four Seasons pet sitters, etc. The size will be expanded to full 8.5 x 11 sheets and will be housed in its own dual-pocket folder – with the directory on one side, and related hardcopy materials on the other. Programs – Stay Tuned For Details! • Haven Kennel Enrichment Party – Feb.12 • PAWS Poop Patrol • Care Facility Visits (research pending) • Fundraising • Recycling CRV bottles and cans - $ to selected charity • PAWS Support • Lost/Found Pet Notification Events – Stay Tuned For Details! Rescue Facility Visits • Mary S. Roberts • Frosted Faces Animal Sanctuary Tours • Sale Ranch (Temecula) • Lions, Tigers, and Bears (San Diego) PAWS now meets the second Thursday of the month at 2 pm in the Ballroom: Our Feb. 12 meeting features our first kennel enrichment party for shelter dogs at 2 pm in the Aerobics Room. Depending on interest, we hope to make this a regular event!
