Bocce Sign-ups We had a very good turnout for the bocce sign-up and now we can get ready to play. Our first game will be March 1 with the first league starting at 2 pm. Make sure you are there early to throw some practice shots. If you did not pay your $10 activity fee, Lorina Duncan will be there to collect your fee. I thank everyone who signed up to play this year, look forward seeing everyone on the courts. This year, Ron Dewberry will be our BBQ chairperson and he will be setting up the day and time to enjoy a great feast. Good luck to all our players, remember we are out there to have fun, help those that are new and be patient. See everyone soon. ~ Ross Brunetto, Bocce Chairperson, (951) 926-8295 | Four Seasons Hemet Herald | MARCH 2026 | 31 Horseshoes We have a few people interested in playing horseshoes. There is a horseshoe league that plays on Wednesday mornings at 8 am at different locations around Hemet. We practice Saturdays at 8 am. Bocce Billiards Club If you like the game of pool and would like to meet and play like- minded players, please join us in the Billiards Room on Tuesdays from 9 am to 12 noon. The club participates with the Hemet Valley Pool Club; we host and travel to other 55+ communities and have tournaments with other teams. The game of choice is 1-15, it is a form of 8 Ball and it is a lot of fun. We are also interested in enlisting a few more players for our club. If this interests you, please come on out and join us for a morning of billiards. ~ Art Martel, Team Captain, (909) 973-8208 We are a friendly group! If you are interested in learning about tennis and getting started playing, or it's been awhile since you last played, please join us. Folks are on the courts most mornings, 9 am in colder weather and 8 am when it's going to get warm! Tennis Club Evening pickleball playtime will begin at 5 pm on Monday and Wednesday evenings during cooler weather. The pickleball players get together every third Saturday of the month at 5 pm in The Lodge Activity Room and again every third Sunday of the month at 5 pm in The Lodge Activity Room to enjoy a potluck dinner and hone their competitive skills playing the fun board game, Sequence. Pickleball March brings with it hope for warmer days and the beginning of spring. Time to leave our winter hibernation and start moving. Come try our "Walk Fit" Class for added activity. A full hour of aerobic walking burns about 350 calories, is heart healthy and builds strength and stability. (Three times a week is 1,050 calories.) The class consists of nine different Leslie Sansone "Walk Fit" DVDs. The easy-to-follow routines are set to music with varying tempos. The complete class is four miles, but you can come late or leave early to shorten your routine and work at your own level. A few of the DVDs incorporate resistance bands (always optional). Some class members add light hand weights for added strength training. Stop by and give us a try. New members are always welcome, both men and women! Class Schedule: Mon., Wed., Fri. from 7:45 to 8:45 am in The Lodge Ballroom. CLASS IS FREE ! For more information, contact Karen Tuvim at (316) 260-0847. Walk Fit
