GATE LIST Now that we are in the new year, a good housekeeping item for owners to do is review their guest list on dwellingLIVE. You can have permanent guests, but they will stay on there until either you delete them or ask staff to help with that. There are also temporary guests who visit for short periods of time. You can restrict someone so they are stopped at the Potrero Guard House and don't come to your home (although people can still tailgate, so this is not a security amenity). Please make sure to either add the name of your guest to the list or call one of the facilities so staff can add your guest's name to the list. If you have on your profile that every guest must be called in from the gate house, you'll get one call and if you weren't reached, your guest will be denied entry. AMAZON With the ease of use of ordering from Amazon and having many things deliverable the next day, please make sure that you are not selecting the 4 am to 8 am option. The gate house is not staffed at that time and Amazon drivers are attempting to tail gate people into the community. JANUARY DOLLARS AND CENTS At the January Board meeting, the following projects and bids were approved. Please note in parentheses is the Committee that generated the proposal and then stating either an Operational expense which comes from this year's dues, or a Reserve expense. There were no proposals for Board consideration in January. SURVEY The Community Planning Committee and Canine Corral Committee have a survey out for the Off-Leash area. If you haven't participated yet, you have until March 5 to submit your feedback. We have hard copies at The Lodge front desk that can be filled out or visit https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/ZF828KD. DAILY REPORT If you're not receiving Four Seasons Beaumont daily emails/Activities Blasts, email issues@fourseasonsbeaumont.org to have your email added to the list of recipients. Having your email on the list is especially important in order to receive warnings and updates related to emergencies in our area (example: July 2025 Wolf Fire). REMINDERS A reminder I give at each Open Session Board Meeting is to slow down. Once you are home behind the gates, speeding or not stopping at stop signs will only "save" you a few seconds of time. Speed limits are 30 mph on the Circle, 25 mph on all side streets, and 15 mph in parking lots. Slow down and drive responsibly. Also, use the sidewalks if you're a pedestrian and wear white or reflective clothing when it's dark outside. Make sure to fob-in each and every time you enter a facility. One, it's the rule, and two, team members rotate through the different facilities and the person at the desk when you return might not be the one who was there originally and saw you fob-in the first time.
