| SUN LAKES LIFESTYLES | MARCH 2026 | 27 I hope you all had a happy Valentine's! Last month, Karen Brandt taught a class on needle-turn applique. We're going to meet for another lesson. She is amazing. We learned to make Valentine's table mats and are looking forward to St. Patrick's projects. Come join us. We have the best group of fun ladies who make amazing quilts. Quilters Fiber Artists We are ladies committed to knitting, crocheting, needlepoint or anything else to do with yarn. We meet every Monday in the North Clubhouse at 12:30 pm except on the third Monday of the month when we meet at 11:30 am. On the second Monday we redistribute our leftover yarns and supplies to each other. On the LAST Monday of the month we share a potluck lunch. All are welcome, there are no dues, just bring yourself and a project. Be sure to visit the display case next to the doors to the Main Clubhouse Ballroom. They meet Tuesdays from 9 am to12 pm and Thursdays from 3 to 6 pm. The cost is $80 per month and includes all supplies and firings. There is no long-term commitment, it is month to month. Please know we cannot make exceptions to the scheduling, the only open session is Tuesdays/Thursdays. To join just come by the Arts & Crafts Room in the Main Clubhouse at class time to see Bear. Be sure and visit the display case just outside the Ballroom doors for samples of the Mudslinger's work.
