| SUN LAKES LIFESTYLES | MARCH 2026 | 63 I hope everyone had a memorable Valentine's day, and that you're looking forward to our upcoming camping trips. We had our annual Home Town Rally in January. It was disappointing that so many members weren't able to attend. Quite a few were on extended vacations, and sadly a number were also ill. We did have 16 members come and we had a very good time, spending time catching up on things, talking about places to go in the future, and playing a few different games. We congratulate Tom and Alexa for taking everyone's life savings. Don't forget our annual trip to Fortune De Oro in Yuma, Arizona is March 23-29. This is a non sanctioned rally, meaning there is no Trail Boss, but have no fear, this truly is a great trip to participate in. You'll need to make your own reservations, so give them a call and make your reservation. Their number is (928) 342-5051, and remember to tell them you're with the Sun Lakes RV Group. For those who do not have RVs, they do have cottages for you to rent. In April we'll be going to the Golden Village Palms RV Resort. Our Trail Bosses are Robin and Colin Pay. Yes this is not a very far trip, and yes it's in Hemet, but this is a very nice resort, and there will be a number of activities I'm sure you'll enjoy. For instance, a Vintage Car and Trailer show, two tribute bands, and the Ramona Pageant will be going while we're there. The Board is actively looking for RV Resorts that are within a days driving, as many would prefer not to drive long distances.
