Shown here with this month's article are pictures of last month's
Valentine's Day projects. We had several beautiful hearts emerge from the
creative hands of our members.
As we head into the spring months, we are currently thinking about
the next project to work on. There are many options this time of year:
anything spring related, Easter, and Mother's Day, or maybe something
involving f lowers. I love the idea of a basket of some sort, to fill with
cookies, candies, Easter eggs, or bunnies.
We enjoy trying new crafts. The name of our group may be Paper Crafting,
but we do a wide variety of crafts and other activities, from embroidery to
crocheting, knitting, water coloring, collage, decoupage, cross stitch, and
of course, the usual albums, cards, tags, and photo sorting. We enjoy it all.
Our meeting dates are on Mondays from 1 to 3 pm in the Main Clubhouse
Multipurpose Room. The second Monday only, our time changes to 11 am
to 1 pm. We will meet five times in March. Meeting dates are March 2, 16,
23, and 30 from 1 to 3 pm. March 9 (the second Monday) will be from 11
am to 1 pm.
Our monthly luncheon is always on the second Thursday of the month.
Effective immediately, the new time will be 12 pm. This month's lunch
takes place on March 12 at 12 pm in the Main Clubhouse Restaurant. Don't
forget to mark your calendar with these dates.
