38 | SUN LAKES LIFESTYLES | MARCH 2026 | The Veterans of Sun Lakes kicked off 2026 at the meeting in January with a remembrance and moment of silence for many of the club members who passed away in 2025. Ed Luna, USAF, Executive Director, told the members that the club is looking for a New Executive Director starting April 1 for the upcoming term. Larry Middlesworth, club Board member, indicates the club has received over 450 old donated f lags for formal disposal via the Yucaipa Fire Department. Also the club will be touring the March Air Reserve Base on Wed., March 11. If you're interested in this tour, contact Larry at (909) 973-5355. Doug Emery, Treasurer and Information Officer, reviewed the holiday party success and reminded veterans to attend the January Veterans Expo.
