SOLERA SIPPERS
The photos at right are from our
January Sipper Bowl/Chili tasting
evening. We had fun-filled evening and
tasted a lot of different chilis from 10 of
our members. Winners were Mary Jane
James, Debbra Pound, and Arden Bates.
February was our Bingo Night. A big
crowd and we were not disappointed.
More about it next month. Now we are
in March when we have our membership
elections, club business, and dinner
party all in one evening (the business/
elections are very short). This month,
Russo's Italian Kitchen is our caterer
and DJ Blast will be providing the music
to keep us on the dance f loor. We will be
having a drawing for nine bottles of wine
included also. Fliers should already be
out.
April will be a Simple Happy Hour.
May will be our Black and White Dinner.
All our events are planned as social
enjoyment evenings.
As always, we are looking for people
to join our Steering Committee. It meets
with the Board of Directors to decide
how and what happens each month.
Meetings are the first Tuesday each
month at 5:30 in the Arts & Crafts Room.
We can always use more people to help
keep the club going strong.
Did you know, It doesn't matter if the
glass is half empty or half full. There's
clearly room for more wine. Hope to see
