ADVERTISING Contact Image Up at (909) 797-3647 • imageup1@verizon.net It has certainly been busy here at Solera Diamond Valley. You may have noticed some unfamiliar faces around the community. Management was tasked with obtaining proposals for all major contracts, including landscape, pool, janitorial, HVAC, etc. is has been a significant undertaking, and Jocelyne has done an amazing job coordinating and expediting the process. Now that the deadline has passed, the proposals received have been given to the Financial Advisory Committee for review. e committee's recommended proposals will then be presented to the Board of Directors for their consideration. e Ad Hoc Committee and the Board of Directors have also been very busy reviewing management proposals, meeting with candidates, and providing tours of the facilities. e Ad Hoc Committee and Board will continue narrowing down the list of candidates for further consideration. In addition, the Board of Directors, Dennis Haffeman, and Management met with IMEG, the mechanical engineering company, on March 6 to inspect the property. We were all very impressed with the IMEG staff. ey were extremely knowledgeable and will be working on a maintenance plan for the community. A special thank you to all our volunteers. A Volunteers Luncheon was held on March 6 in honor of the many individuals who generously give their time to our community. ank you to everyone who attended the luncheon, and most importantly, thank you for your hard work, dedication, and time. It does not go unnoticed. From the entire Solera Diamond Valley staff, we deeply appreciate all that you do. Have you seen the reviews? e Veterans & Friends BBQ on March 7 was well-attended and an overwhelming success. I can personally attest that this event was off the charts. It was my honor to attend — thank you for the invitation. Everything was thoughtfully planned, especially the way the room transported guests back to the Old West with a saloon, jail, and bank. If you ended up in jail like I did, I hope you had a kind friend who bailed you out. I certainly appreciated mine! e food was top-notch and served with big smiles. Fun was had by all. To the Emergency Preparedness Committee, we truly appreciate everything you do. I sincerely appreciate the committee members and all the first responders who are there if we ever need to call 911. Our staff will continue to stay alert and assist in any way we can while on duty. I would also like to make sure our office records are up to date for all residents. Do we have your "in case of emergency" contact information? If not, please contact the office so we can update your records. Please join us at the next Open Session Board Meeting. e meetings are held on the fourth ursday of each month at 2 pm in the Ballroom. e agenda is posted on the bulletin board across from the Ballroom four days prior to the meeting. I look forward to seeing you there. GM Report By Eva Mason, General Manager
