| SUN LAKES LIFESTYLES | APRIL 2026 | 3 From the Master Board The Board works together, with you in mind, to maintain and enhance our beautiful community while trying to find opportunities to improve our financial future. As we move into better weather, we are all excited to be back outside to be with friends and neighbors. Our election for this year's Master Board will be held on April 9 at 9 am in the Main Clubhouse Ballroom. Last minute hand delivered ballots will be accepted until 8:30 am that morning. Serving on the Board is a great opportunity to contribute to our community, help share future decisions, and ensure Sun Lakes remains a great place to live. It's not about seeing our glass as half full or half empty; rather seeing our glass full of possibilities. Our community is defined not just by our beautiful surroundings, but by our collective spirit; our willingness to listen to one another, and our openness to new ideas. Only together can we make a difference. Please take the time to vote. With four open board seats, this election will be very important for the future of Sun Lakes Country Club. The Board would like to thank our outgoing Master Board Vice President Bob Walter. His countless hours dedicated to serving our community over the past six years serves as a reminder to us all how a volunteer truly is defined. In doing some quick math, well over 668 meetings serving our community over these past six years. Thank you, Bob, for your leadership. The Board will begin working on an outline for a Strategic Plan that will encircle many resources working on this much needed project to begin. Advisory Groups, Management Team and the Master Board will work to complete the plan together. This Strategic Plan will provide a compass for our future. As the new oncoming Board Members start this journey, they will work towards a better Sun Lakes for all.
