We held our February meeting with a remembrance and moment of silence for many of the club members who passed away in 2025. Also four new club members were introduced. Ed Luna, USAF, Executive Director told the members that the club is looking for a New Executive Director starting April 1 for the upcoming term. Any member interested should contact Ed Luna at (949) 689-0007. Larry Middlesworth reviewed the March Air Reserve Base Tour for last month. Over 30 members attended. Special guests included Christopher Stanley from Faith In Action reviewing an initiative to develop and build specific housing for homeless veterans in the Banning and Beaumont area. Then representatives from Dignity Memorial Weaver Mortuary and Crematory in Beaumont reviewed and presented Veterans Funeral & Burial Resources including military funeral honors, burial benefits, pre-planning and cemetery coordination. Feel free to bring material to share, whether it is nished or in progress, current or something you wrote some time ago. Feel free to discuss your interest in writing. Feel free to listen to others present their writings, nished or in progress. See how our meetings are run. In any case, come to our Creative Writers meetings. Our Creative Writers Club has several experienced writers in many forms of literature. Come join us at Creative Writers Club meetings to share your ideas in a friendly setting, and listen to the writings and opinions of others. You will nd this very stimulating. Bruce is shown with his wife Catherine at a funeral service for a fellow Marine. Bruce was recognized as being the tallest Marine — at 7 feet tall. He is now confined to a wheelchair as a result of combat-related injuries from the Vietnam War.
