Dog Owners Here it is April already and Easter is just a few days away. Hope the Easter Bunny is kind to you. Our first rally to Coachella Valley RV Resort was a success. We had 13 rigs there. The weather was wonderful, a little windy a couple of days, but nothing like Banning's windy days. The resort had a very nice 18-hole miniature golf course, so naturally everyone had to try their luck. Who knows, we may be going back again next year. We even had a couple rigs from Solera join our group. Our RV Club Board is looking to have a couple simple get-togethers during the year for everyone to congregate and hear what is planned and to get ideas from you, the members. More to follow on this around mid April or May. Our trip to Golden Palms Resort in Hemet is April 16 to 21. The deadline to sign up for the Rally was March 5, but if anyone wants to contact the resort and see if you can still get in, you need to call (951) 260-2340. Make sure you let them know you're from Sun Lakes and if any spaces close to us can be obtained. It appears our group is growing; at last count, we have 92 members. Couples count as two. This is good, but it sure would be nice if a number of our members would get more involved in helping with our rallies. Being a Trail Boss is not difficult, as you'll have a committee that will help get everything going. We have a book on what a Trail Boss needs to aware of, to make it even easier. We have a few birthdays for April: Jim Ball 4/19, Donna Boyles 4/12, Jim Caldwell 4/14, Don Day 4/17, Teresa Solomon-Billings 4/21, Tom Vida 4/6, and Rick Vargas 4/29. RV Club ATTENTION ALL RV OWNERS! The RV Lot Committee and the Sun Lakes RV Club are encouraging ALL RV OWNERS to attend a meeting with the Committee to attain a common format to present to the HOA Board meeting in May in order to show strength and solidarity toward improving security in the lot. The break-ins from inside and outside forces have increased over the past few years. Our goal is to show the Board and management that we want real and effective security to protect our investments. We will be getting information out soon in regard to dates and times for us to come together.
