FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | APRIL 2026 49 Classic Film Group Four Seasons at Beaumont Amateur Radio Club pays tribute to one of our longtime members, Harry Henderson, who passed away December 24, 2025. His humor and deep voice are no longer heard during our weekly on-the-air meetings. His technical knowledge and experience in the world of electronics, old and new, are no longer shared by him with us. His way to solve complex problems with simple solutions helped many of us with the understanding of ham radio technology and restoration of vintage radio equipment. He was one of the mentors in our club, or as we say in the "ham radio world," one of our "Elmers." Harry was an experienced operator, mentor, teacher, and guide to the rest of us. He will be and already is dearly missed. Our Radio Club is for anyone interested in radio communication and radio technology and who is willing to use these tools to help other residents of our community in times of need. We have our weekly informational Nets (on the air meetings) each Wednesday at 5:30 pm on frequency 145.645 MHz. Four Seasons residents are welcome and encouraged to check into these Nets after regular roll call as a visitor. Our monthly in-person meetings are on the last Friday of each month at 10 am in RCN Room #3. Our next meeting will be Friday, April 24. Anyone is invited to join us, find out what we are about, and become a member. Praised for realistic portrayal, strong performances by Fredric March and Harold Russell, and sensitive direction by William Wyler, this lm is a microcosm of the experiences of many American warriors who found an alien world awaiting them when they came marching home. e Wednesday Matinee is April 8 at 2 pm in e Lodge eater. We will present a tribute to Robert Duval in his rst military-themed lm, MASH. e sta of a Korean War eld-hospital uses humor and hi- jinks to keep their sanity in the face of the horror of war, as a signpost points them home, wherever that may be. e personnel at the 4077 MASH unit deal with the horrors of the Korean War and the stresses faced in surgery by whatever means. eir antics can best be described as non-regulation, and, in the words of one of their fellow MASH-ers, unmilitary. ~ Paul Plamondon, 4seasonsmoviegroup@gmail.com Harry with his Magnetic Loop Antenna in 2019
