April is here! I have to agree with Mark Twain, who said, "In the spring, I have counted 136 different kinds of weather inside of 24 hours." April brings more than just showers. There's a fresh feeling in the air, birds singing in the trees, and f lowers opening up to the sky. It's the perfect time to pick up fresh asparagus and strawberries. Late winter root vegetables like beets and carrots are still around, too. Roasted asparagus and glazed carrots always make my mouth water. Yup, I really do love April! This month, we welcome and celebrate Good Friday on April 3 and Easter on April 5. But let's not forget April 1, a day that is special to all pranksters at heart. And, not to be bested by National Burrito Day on April 2. As you make your plans for Easter, don't forget Francisco's special Easter Brunch – there is only one seating, so make your reservations early. My note is brief this month, but I can't miss the chance to give a big thank you to Francisco Aguirre! This year marks his 20th anniversary as the owner of The Bistro at Four Seasons. For 20 years, Francisco and his team have served wonderful food and created memorable dining experiences, always with his gentle presence and warm smile. If you see him, please take a moment to let him know you appreciate him. Thank you, Francisco! Bon appétit! Pita Oops! I almost forgot – Stacy & Natalie Kiser were the lucky winners of the March Sunday Brunch for Two gift certificate. Congrats, Kisers! 10 | Four Seasons Hemet Herald | APRIL 2026 | Name: ____________________________________________________________________________________ Address:___________________________________________________________________________________ Phone: ____________________________________________________________________________________ APRIL 2026 FREE SUNDAY BRUNCH FOR TWO AT THE BISTRO Not valid on holidays or special events. Limit ONE ENTRY per residence per month Bistro Committee e years have been kind to Francisco - yes, his hair is not quite as dark, but he still has that twinkle in his eyes and his charming smile! The Social Committee is having another FREE Scavenger Hunt on Sat., May 9, from 10 am to 1 pm. All clues refer to places within our community. You can do the hunt as an individual but is hard to look around and drive at the same time! It is also much more fun to gather friends and family and do it as a team. Clues will direct participants to various locations in each of the major tracts in our community and maybe even The Lodge. Verification of correct clue locations will be documented by taking photos, writing answers and/or collecting objects. The team who returns before 1 pm with the most correct answers will be deemed the winner. Sound like a fun time? Please sign up at The Lodge so we will have an idea of how many teams we will have. Hope to see you there. Free Scavenger Hunt
