SOLERA SIPPERS
The pictures at right are from our Solera Bingo
Night. Everyone had 12 cards, one for each game.
It was one of those nights where the winners came
fast or seemed like the card was almost all used up
before a winner called Bingo. Everyone had a good time. March was our yearly
combination business meeting and thank you to our members for their support
throughout the year. April starts our new year. The results of the meeting portion
were sent out after the meeting.
With the new year starting April 1, club membership dues for the following year
became due again. This year's amount remains at $20 for the year. The dues are
used to help cover costs for DJs, decorations, and other costs for our functions. We
also have a free event once a year. Our price for each event depends on our costs
and how much the club cans subsidize each event. April 11 will be a Simple Happy
Hour. If you have renewed your membership, you should have already gotten a
f lier about the event. If you didn't get your f lier, contact Gary Stoh, his email is at
the end of this writeup. It should be a fun night time for a game or two and social
activity, getting to see old and some new members to the club.
On May 16, we'll have our Black and White Bash. June 13 is by our Bocce
Tournament. July 11 will be a Luau. Looking forward to see you all there. An
observation: Wine tastings are funny — everyone swirls, sniffs, and nods like
they're decoding ancient secrets … but we all know the real review is just, "Yep,
that's wine."
