Michael and Brenda Dewey traveled to India and
Nepal in February. Highlights of the trip included
ightseeing in the Himalayan Mountains and
seeing Mt. Everest; visiting the Taj Mahal and
many Hindu and Buddhist temples and historical
sites; philosophical talk and meditation with a
Buddhist head monk; restorative experiences at
a Nepalese sanctuary; viewing cremation rituals
along a river in Nepal; and multiple days of wildlife
safaris in the Chitwan National Park in Nepal and
the Bandhavgarh National Park in India. ey
had amazing luck with nine sightings of Bengal
Tigers, as well as elephants, rhinos, wild boar, guars,
monkeys, deer, birds, crocodiles, jackals, and more.
