TABLE TENNIS Come and join us on Thursday at 10 am for table tennis exercises and fellowship while you wait to play. We are hoping to get a third table soon! 38 | LIFE IN SOLERA | APRIL 2026 | Tennis Paradise - Indian Wells (pictures above) For the fifth year, some of Solera Tennis Titans attended the Masters 1000 tennis match in Indian Wells. This is a spectacular place to see professional tennis matches. Carol Mee and Beverly Crowe had seats in Stadium One and watched Sabalenka beat Osaka, Zverev over Tiafo and Learner Tien, a young Californian, prevail over Davidovich-Fokina. At Stadium Two Richard and Shirley Ferguson saw Fils over Aliassime, and Australian newcomer Gibson over Paolini. The weather was perfect, and the event is well organized to handle thousands who attend. TENNIS TITANS Pickleball is one of the fastest growing sports in America and around the world. Suitable for all age groups, pickleball promotes good cardio, eye-hand coordination, and memory function. Here at Solera, we have over 30 players in the organized group, who are also active in other clubs and groups within our community. Don't hesitate coming to the courts if you have never played. There are extra paddles and any of the players will be happy to help get you going! Organized play is on Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday with a scheduled start time of 7:30 am to 12 pm. Hours may vary depending on the time of year. For more information, please contact Gaby DeWitt at (909) 446-2704 or Cindy Bice at (949) 466-3003. Paddles up! Remember … no ball is worth the fall!
