18 | OHCC LIVING | APRIL 2026 | Welcome to April, everyone! This time of year is all about fresh starts, longer days, and enjoying more time outdoors with friends and neighbors. With spring in the air, April brings a renewed sense of energy throughout Ocean Hills. It's the perfect time to get out, get active, and take advantage of the many opportunities to connect with your community. The Recreation Department is excited to continue offering fun ways for residents to stay active, socialize, and enjoy everything OHCC has to offer. Here are a few upcoming recreation events you'll definitely want to add to your calendar. 1st Annual OHCC March Madness Shooting Challenge Fri., April 3, 2 pm, Court 4 Think you've got a great shot? Come test your skills at our 1st Annual OHCC March Madness Shooting Challenge! This fun and friendly basketball competition is free for all OHCC residents and is a great way to show off your shooting touch or simply come out and cheer on your neighbors. Residents can register at the Recreation front desk, where f lyers are available. You can also scan the QR code on the f lyer for additional details about the challenge. Annual Eggstravaganza Sat., April 4, 10 am – 2 pm Our Annual Eggstravaganza is right around the corner! Join the Recreation Department for one of our favorite community traditions filled with family-friendly fun. The day will include bounce houses, an Easter egg hunt, family activities, and more. This is a FREE community event, so bring the family, grab a basket, and come enjoy a fun-filled day together at the Clubhouse and Lanai. Taco Tuesday at the Lanai Tuesday, April 14, 12 - 4 pm There's a buzz around the community about our all-new Taco Tuesday! The fun kicks off on April 7 at the Lanai, where you can stop by and enjoy tacos, margaritas, palomas, and beer at great prices while spending time with friends and neighbors. Payments will be made directly to the taco vendor and bartender using cash, credit card, or Venmo. Skin Cancer Awareness Lecture Tues., April 21, 2:30 pm, Abravanel Hall Join us for an important and informative Skin Cancer Awareness Lecture. This is a great opportunity to learn more about prevention, early detection, and protecting your health. Please sign up at the OHCC Clubhouse to reserve your spot. Bicycle repair, service, and maintenance through TriPower Multisports will continue in April. This will happen in the overf low parking lot. Feel free to call the Recreation front desk for April dates that Mike with TriPower will be here. April is shaping up to be a fun, active, and exciting month at Ocean Hills. Whether you're attending an event, trying something new, or simply enjoying time with neighbors, we hope to see you out and about in the community.
