The recent rains have brought a beautiful transformation to our hills, much like the energy we are feeling here at OHCC. From the incredible Dean Z performance that my wife and I attended, to our various cultural events, it is a joy to see our community thriving. As we look ahead, my goals remain focused on inclusion, conclusion, and progress. Here are a couple of my ideas: A town hall meeting to plan what we want for the future would give everyone a chance to bring their ideas about what they would like to see in OHCC future. It would be especially important to hear from our younger residents whose wants and desires may be quite different from our more seasoned residents. If we want OHCC to continue to be the premiere over 55 HOA in Southern California, there will always be new things and ideas to explore. In addition, it was mentioned to me that it would be nice to sit down with the Master Board and chat informally. The idea of having coffee with the Board would be a good start. We would like to hear what is on your mind and what we could do better. After all, we are here to represent you. As we finish the last of the three big major projects of the golf course, lanai, and the lake, we need to explore what we did well, what we could have done better, and how this will shape how we approach future projects. We need to report on the entire costs of these projects to finally close the books on them, and then, hopefully move forward in a united way. By the time you read this, voting on the two ballot measures should be completed. Regardless of the outcome, I wish to thank everyone who voted. It is important that we recognize the will of the people whatever the outcome. As we continue our journey together, let us keep our hearts and minds open, embrace our differences, and celebrate the possibilities that lie ahead.
