FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | MAY 2026 7 By Cindy Graves May is here starting with the wonderful Cars & Coffee Mother's Day Tribute meeting on Saturday, May 2 in The Lodge parking lot from 9 to 11 am. This is going to be awesome, with a live band, cake, and f lowers for the women! Check additional detail in the Cars & Coffee article for further information on this event. Thank you Cars & Coffee! How sweet you are! Next we're starting our Loggia Dance Concert Series on "Nuevo De Mayo (the 9th of May). We'll be showcasing a new highly recommended group starring Leana Rodgers and her band. The Bistro is also going to offer a Mexican food buffet to accompany the party so be sure to dress in "Latin wear" if you have any, to liven up the festivities. We'll have our fun door prizes and you're welcome to bring your favorite beverages. No tickets are required. The doors will open at 5:30 pm. Mark your calendars! We'll have a packed house for Karen Belcher's famous "Name That Tune" event with a travel theme. Come on down and play table against table, as we all try to figure out the names of some of these popular songs with travel themes. It'll be great and we're looking forward to seeing you there. The date is Friday, May 15 at 6 pm in The Lodge Ballroom. Armed Forces Day on May 16 is going to be a big day for honoring our wonderful hometown heroes, our Four Seasons veterans. The day will begin with a Classic Car Parade with line up at the Crooked Creek windmill at 9:30 am. The parade will take off at 10 am and we'll be going around Four Seasons Circle; so get out there and wave as the parade goes by. Then at 2 pm, we'll meet you all at the Veterans Park for a tile dedication. Bring a lawn chair if you'd like, and then immediately following we'll go over to The Summit for a small cake reception. Take a minute to honor your neighborhood veterans. If music is your thing, the Bell Choir and Four Seasons Choir will be teaming up again to thrill us with divine resonance and harmonies. The program is Tuesday, May 28 at 6 pm in The Lodge Ballroom; light refreshments will be served. There is no price for admittance. Finally, the Westbrooks are at it again with their HOA Disco Dance on Friday, May 29 at 6 pm in The Lodge Ballroom. Wear your shiny outfits, bell bottom pants, and platform shoes and be prepared to dance the night away! Everyone is welcome, even those of you that want a good time, but don't dance! See you there!
