Golf Cart: e Holiday Parade
was the last golf cart parade
until the Fourth of July Parade.
Hopefully, the turnout will be as
good for the Fourth of July Parade
as it was for the Holiday Parade.
As we get closer to July, more
information will be made available.
Until then mark your calendar for
July 4th 8:30 am for lining up and
9 am for Parade start (should take
40-45 minutes).
Flag Angels: e Flag Angels started o the year with ag
postings for MKL Day and Presidents Day. e Angels will get
a well-deserved bit of rest; the next postings will not take place
until Memorial Day, end of May.
For the past two years I have been highlighting the Flag Angels,
one route per month. I am all caught up, so next month I will
highlight any future additions. We have lost several angels due to
assorted reasons. I have used up the substitutes, and I need two
volunteers to take a route, and a few volunteer substitutes would
also help. Fortunately, some angels have taken a second route to
cover the shortages. Hank Schultz is one of several Angels doing
double duty. He is helping with two routes on Memorial Day!
