WHAT IS AV?
Have you ever wondered how all these shows and lectures get on channel 1960, or the website at
oceanhillscountryclub.com Video on Demand page? It's up to our AV volunteers!
AV (Audio Visual Committee) is a Standing Committee of the Master Board. It is not a club. We exist to provide
Audio Visual services (audio, video, lighting, live & on-demand streaming and broadcasting) whenever possible,
to the Master Association, its Standing Committees, and the Recreation Department. is service can be provided
only if there are trained Audio Visual Volunteers who are available. Training is provided in all three areas:
AUDIO: Learn about microphone placement, and show setups. If interested,
you can also learn to use our Audio Mixer Board - an advanced version of the
amplier setups you may have used in your garage band!
LIGHTING: Learn all about controlling the many light xtures, colors, and
intensity to create the right ambiance for any given event.
VIDEO: Learn how to frame your shot, following moving subjects, and give your
audience a great experience as if they were there in person!

TO CLUBS AND OTHER GROUPS: Do it yourself light panel now available in Abravanel Hall. To learn, see the front desk to request
a simple, quick training on using the new panel in the wall. A sta member will power the light panel on. Choose from eight preset
light combinations. Some are party lights, some are stage lights. Imagine how easy this will be for rehearsals on stage or parties
where you want certain color themes and/or the disco ball. It's all available to you.
