Parkinson's Support: Our Support Group meets the rst ursday of every month at the Clubhouse at 3 pm in the Majorca Room. We are a growing group of those with Parkinson's and their Caretakers. By sharing your challenges and successes with others on the same journey, we help each other nd strategies for coping with Parkinson's. We oer participation in a walking group, weekend ping pong, an outside dance group, outside exercise groups and our social activities of Happy Hours and get-togethers! Easy Yoga: Easy Yoga is oered by resident Jody McDonough via video. Come and join her class to rejuvenate your spirit, mind and body. Bring an exercise mat, small pillow and towel. Gentle Yoga: Gentle yoga is a free class led by OHCC resident Anna Grinshpun. Anna is certied yoga instructor and has been teaching yoga since 2004. e class is held Tuesdays, 10 to 11:15 am and ursdays, 3:30 to 4:45 pm. e class emphasizes full body stretching with deep breathing and some meditation. e results of practice will bring your body into alignment and to a peaceful state. Game Night Game night has been moved to the second Monday of the month in the Lamia Room from 6:30 to 8:30 pm. We have on Board (LOL), many games including Rummikub, Sequence, Scrabble, Dominos, Backgammon, Pictionary, Mexican Train, Taboo, Yahtzee and more. If you have a game, you love that's easy to teach, bring it along. Come join us for some competition, fun, laughter and friendship. Alzheimer's & Dementia Caregivers Support Group : Support groups create a safe, condential and supportive environment. ey give a chance for participants to develop mutual support and social relationships. OHCC Drum Circle: Saturdays, 11 am to 12 pm, you can join a Drum Circle in the Clubhouse. Meet with us for a rhythmic, meditative experience with percussion instruments. No experience is necessary. Our group is led by resident and professional musician/drummer, Keith ompson. You don't even need a drum but if you have one, bring it. ere is no charge. Sunday Bunco: We play on the rst Sunday each month in the Mykonos Room, 5:30 to 8:30 pm. Each player brings $5 contribution to the prize money and something to share (like a snack, or beverage). If any supplies become unavailable, or are not of your preference, you will be asked to buy them. Plant-Based Food & Friends: Curious about plant-based eating? Come explore it with friends. We gather on the second Friday of each month to connect, learn, and be inspired around whole food, plant-based living. Some months we share dishes, other times we host guest speakers, watch thought- provoking documentaries, or enjoy meaningful discussion.
