34 | LIFE IN SOLERA | MAY 2026 | Boy, was I surprised! If, you come to Bingo when I call, you know that 28 is my favorite number because both Al and I have the same birthday – March 28th. When I walked into my March 27th class, three of my good friends started singing Happy Birthday to me. When done, I turned around and saw that they decorated the Arts & Crafts Room and, set a beautifully decorated table with pink and lots of bling. They brought large cupcakes, strawberries and cream and drinks for everyone. I lost it! How special! If that wasn't enough, after I taught the first two cards Joy stood up and read a scroll they made for me and had everyone sign it. Again, I lost it. Take a look at the cards and scroll … I love my girls! My May class will again be on the third Friday which is May 15, and the cost is still only $10. If this is your first time, bring a small, sharp pair of scissors and fast-drying white glue. I like Tombow in the green bottle. I use this glue because it gives you a little time to move the glued pieces around so you get the perfect layout. If you don't have these items, I have stock on hand. I buy in bulk and pass the savings onto you! My all-day Holiday Card Art will be Sat., July 25. Registration started in March. My regulars sign up first then starting May 1. I will have forms are in the Mail Room. This all-day class include a continental breakfast, snacks, lunch, a gift bag, prizes and of course the eight beautiful cards with step-by-step instructions.
