CalFire Chief Todd Hopkins and CalFire Regional Coordinator
Ryan Lubben recently gave a presentation on obtaining "recognized
status" for Solera as a Firewise USA community. Solera resident Ron
Monroe is serving as our Resident Contact and is working directly
with Ryan Lubben on this effort.
Once recognized, residents may be able to provide this
designation to their insurance companies, which could help
maintain coverage and potentially reduce policy costs.
The presentation also included helpful information on how to
create defensible space around your home and reduce fire risk.
