28 | LIFE IN SOLERA | MAY 2026 | AFRICAN AMERICAN CULTURE CLUB RADIO CLUB We hosted another fantastic movie night in April, perfectly coinciding with two significant historical milestones. On Feb. 20, 1962, John Glenn became the first American to orbit the Earth, and on April 1, 2026 (no April Fools' jokes here), Artemis II successfully launched its mission to orbit the moon. Therefore, screening the film "Hidden Figures" was especially fitting. This film pays tribute to the incredible African American women who played crucial roles in Glenn's groundbreaking flight. A heartfelt thank you goes out to our AACC members and wonderful Solera friends and neighbors for making it such a memorable evening. Stay tuned for our next movie night announcement. In the meantime, don't forget to mark Sat., May 23, on your calendar. We'll host an Estate Planning Educational Seminar featuring a fantastic panel of professionals ready to answer your pressing questions. 2026 Event Calendar: • May 23: Wills and Trust Educational Q&A • June 26: Jazz Night • Oct. 31: Costume & Murder Mystery Party • Dec. 5: Holiday Dinner & Dance Party Choose one or choose them all; just know that we look forward to sharing more fun times with our Solera friends and neighbors!
