| LIFE IN SOLERA | MAY 2026 | 3 FROM THE BOARD B Marci Case March 31st, the Board approved the budget for 2026-2027. The amount of increase to the monthly assessment, effective June 1, 2026, is $316. Basically, the increase of $5 is for Reserves and $4 is for expenses. Please remember if you have to make a change for the increase payment yourself, do it so it is effective June 1st. If your assessment is automatically changed, you don't have to do anything. Below is a short summary of the changes in the budget: • Utilities total increase is $2,532 or .18% • Pool total decrease is -$2,000 or -7.55% • Landscape Maintenance total increase is $9,188 or 1.99% • Contract Maintenance & Repair total increase is $11,116 or 8.04% • Repairs and Maintenance total decrease is -$8,457 or -8.77% • Property Protection total increase is $28,080 or 5.46% • Recreation total decrease is -$10,024 or -2.89% • Community Events total increase is $5,000 or 20% • Administration total increase is $7,046 or 1.02% • Legal total has no change • Reserve Funding increase is $75,000 or 6.98% • Capital Improvement has no change The total budget for an increase in income and expenses is $138,365 or 2.90% The Board thanks the Finance Committee, Leo Jusay, John Crawford, Peter Marchi, Dave Gilford, and Diane Coffman, for their time and expertise in developing this new budget. We appreciate your time and dedication. The ballots for this year's election have been sent to all homeowners. There are three open positions for the Board of Directors, two positions for two years and one position for one year. Your vote will determine by the number of votes received for each candidate which position they receive. As always, the office a board member holds is determined by secret ballot of the five board members. There are two other issues on the ballot, one for the IRS and the other is to approve last year's minutes of the annual membership meeting. This years annual membership meeting is Wed., May 20. The Board encourages members to attend.
