We are excited to announce our upcoming
Juneteenth Celebration featuring The Blue Breeze
Band.
The celebration will be held on Sat., June 27 from
6 to 9 pm. Reserved outside patio table seating is
available. Attendees are encouraged to bring their
own beverages and snacks. Tickets are on sale at the Lodge for
residents and their guests at a cost of $20 per person. Checks should
be made payable to Bid Whist Plus Social Club.
Juneteenth National Independence Day is a national holiday
observed on June 19. Our club will celebrate the following weekend
with a special performance by the Blue Breeze Band. The mission
of the national Juneteenth Foundation is to bring all Americans
together to celebrate our shared freedom through
education, observance, and historical preservation
of Juneteenth. Music unites us, and the dynamic
Motown, R&B, soul, funk, jazz, and blues sounds of
the Blue Breeze Band will help us achieve this goal.
For over 15 years, The Blue Breeze Band has
captivated audiences of all ages with their versatile sound and
charismatic stage presence. Their energetic performance promises
a vibrant celebration of diversity, with everyone dancing and
enjoying an unforgettable experience.
