| SUN LAKES LIFESTYLES | JUNE 2026 | 13 Tee Times, Pace of Play, and Reservations We've recently seen an increase in issues related to tee time reservations, multiple bookings, and pace of play. To maintain a smooth and enjoyable experience for all, please keep the following in mind: Tee times are reserved for you and your group. Please check in at least 15 minutes prior to your scheduled time. Our tee sheet runs on seven-minute intervals, and staying on schedule is essential. If an earlier opening becomes available and your group is called to the tee ahead of time, you are welcome to wait until your reserved time if all players have not yet arrived. Simply inform the golf shop, and we will send the next ready group. Your original tee time will be honored. Morning play, particularly the rst two hours, tends to move at a faster pace, with many players completing 18 holes in approximately 3 hours and 45 minutes. If you prefer a more relaxed round or are still learning the game, we recommend tee times aer 9 am. Our pace of play standards are: • Championship Course: 4 hours • Executive Course: 3 hours 15 minutes e Pro Shop is committed to maintaining these standards for the benet of all players. Multiple bookings under the same member are not permitted. If duplicate reservations are identied, the later tee time will be released. If others are booking under your name, please ensure you are not listed in more than one group at the same time. Lastly, thank you for your cooperation with the driving range token system. With high usage and limited supply, your support is appreciated. We are currently exploring upgraded range equipment to improve eciency and access. Goldstein II PGA, Director of Golf From the Pro Shop The Delegate Assembly is off with a fresh start following the election. We have new Delegates and Alternates as well as those who chose to return. Thank you for stepping up. We also have a new Chair, Gayle Bilek, and Vice-Chair, David Miller. Gayle Bilek, our new Chair, is the Delegate for District 7. She has lived in Sun Lakes for five years and has been active since she moved into the community. She is a retired educator of 43 years, and she served on the California Teachers Association Board of Directors for nine years. She has participated in HOA work groups and updated the HOA Bylaws under the direction of the Board. She is beginning her second term as a delegate. David Miller, our new Vice-Chair, and his wife Mary, have lived in Sun Lakes for 12 years and absolutely love it. David is the Delegate for District 5. He is the EPAP Coordinator and data entry person. Previously he was a Zone Captain for seven years. Before retiring, he was a partner in a general contracting firm where he had worked for 30 years before buying the company with two other people and working for another 10 years. He has been an on-site Supervisor and Project Manager on construction projects totaling over $100 million. Together, Gayle and David care deeply about our community, and they have a lot to offer. Their goal is to maintain a professional Delegate Assembly that works together as a team and moves forward in a positive and productive way while representing our districts, the needs of our residents, and our new HOA Board. Their intention is to foster a Delegate Assembly that is cohesive, collaborative and forward-moving. Their goal, as the Chair and Vice-Chair, with our new Board leadership is to help return Sun Lakes to a cohesive community. Thank you to Cal Martin for leading the Delegate Assembly for the last two years. The Delegate Assembly meets on the Thursday following the HOA Board meeting. The Delegate workshop is the first Thursday of each month. Residents are encouraged to attend both meetings. From the Delegate Assembly
