Spring Reections, Community Progress, and Looking Ahead Spring has arrived in full beauty at Ocean Hills, bringing blue skies, mild temperatures, and those perfect 70-degree days that remind us how fortunate we are to call this community home. A Community at Comes Together A heartfelt thank you to everyone who performed in and attended the Dance Troops' production of The Love Boat from April 17–19. The performances were entertaining, uplifting, and a wonderful ref lection of what makes Ocean Hills so special. Watching resident dancers from their 50s through their 90s share the stage with such energy and enthusiasm was truly inspiring. That spirit of connection, inclusion, and joy is something we experience throughout our community every day. It is yet another reminder of what a truly special place Ocean Hills is to call home. Lake Project Update We experienced another unexpected setback with the lake project when activation of the pump delivering 500 gallons per minute of well water did some serious damage to the rock spillway. While certainly frustrating, repairs are already underway, and we are hopeful the work will be completed by the time you read this, and the lake finally full. Projects of this scale often come with unforeseen challenges, and this one has been unusually difficult. We sincerely appreciate everyone's continued patience, f lexibility, and understanding as progress continues. COX High-Speed Internet Negotiations The Board continues to work diligently on negotiations aimed at installing high-speed internet service throughout the community. Our goal is to have a new agreement finalized soon, and by August or September as part of the updated contract, residents should anticipate adjustments to monthly fees and the reduction or elimination of what you currently pay COX. Additional information will be shared as negotiations move forward. Board Election and Leadership Transitions The upcoming Board election is quickly approaching, and by now the candidate slate should be finalized. This year, we will be electing successors for three outgoing Board members. We extend our sincere gratitude to Scott Goldwasser, John Kuhlman IV, and Van Rametta for their dedicated service and commitment to the continued success and well-being of Ocean Hills. Their time, effort, and leadership are greatly appreciated. We encourage all residents to take time to learn about the candidates and participate thoughtfully in the election process. Mother's Day Appreciation As this message is being written just before Mother's Day, I would also like to recognize and thank all mothers for the love, guidance, and dedication you have given throughout the years. Your inf luence has shaped families, strengthened communities, and impacted generations in countless meaningful ways. Strategic Planning Initiatives The Master Board has identified five key improvement goals as part of its ongoing strategic planning efforts. We look forward to sharing additional details with the community in the coming weeks as these initiatives continue to develop. As always, your Master Board remains actively engaged and committed to supporting and improving our community. Master Board Meeting Highlights Executive Session – April 13, 2026 During Executive Session, the Board: • Approved the March 16 Executive Session minutes • Reviewed and addressed two failure-to-stop citation matters • Approved recordation of a lien and foreclosure initiation when eligible on one property, and waived late fees on another Reviewed and discussed: • The Cox/fiber project and contract • Securitas contract renewal proposal • Appointment of an Inspector of Elections for the 2026 Annual Meeting • Lake site survey proposal from Paradigm Geospatial • Baker Electric change order • Management agreements between the Master Association and the eight Villages • AEC paving consulting proposal • Clubhouse pool service proposals • Discussed the appointment and dissolution of various ad-hoc committees Regular Session – April 16, 2026 During Regular Session, the Board: • Approved minutes from March 19 Regular Session and March 27 Executive Finance Committee meeting • Approved abbreviated financials through February 28, 2026 • Approved fund transfers exceeding $10,000 | OHCC LIVING | JUNE 2026 | 3 President's Message By Don Williams Continued on next page
