On June 10, 1 to 3 pm, in the Hall, SERT is holding a town hall meeting open to all residents. We have invited Randy Smith, Assistant Fire Marshall for Oceanside Fire, to attend and he placed the date on his calendar. However, he is on call 24/7 in case of an emergency so we will keep our fingers crossed. These are some of the topics we are planning to discuss: • Recent proposed CalFire changes which indicate OHCC is now in a high fire zone • Plant selection to minimize combustion • Exterior construction utilizing non-f lammable materials • Review of roof venting requirements when roofs are repaired or replaced • What you can do today to make your home fire safe • App's that are available to help you prepare for a possible evacuation Alert San Diego Formerly SD Emergency.
