We are fortunate to have the freedom to choose where we live, and many of us have chosen this special little slice of heaven called Sun Lakes Country Club. is year's Independence Day celebration kicks o on Sat., July 4, with our annual Decorated Golf Cart Parade. Bring your beach chairs and nd a spot along the parade route to enjoy the creativity and patriotic spirit of the beautifully decorated golf carts that your neighbors have spent hours preparing. Aer the parade, join us at the Main Clubhouse for food, activities, games, and plenty of camaraderie as we celebrate together as a community. We hope you enjoyed our recent Music Under the Stars event, including the addition of a food truck. Based on the positive response, we are exploring opportunities to feature dierent food trucks at future Music Under the Stars evenings to provide even more variety and enjoyment for residents. e Board has heard your feedback regarding seating in the Lounge. We understand the importance of comfortable and accessible seating for all residents. Working with CCL and their design partner, HUB, we will be replacing the low-seating chairs and chairs without arms. e new furnishings will be designed to better accommodate the needs of our community. Unfortunately, the RV Lot has experienced a number of break-ins, and the Board has been actively evaluating solutions to improve security. Aer extensive research, razor wire will be installed along the top of the perimeter wall surrounding the facility. Residents may contact FSR anytime at (800) 428-5588 for assistance. Overnight parking continues to be a topic of concern within our community. Some residents may not be aware of the current regulations, while others have expressed concerns about enforcement. Recently, Securitas issued citations to approximately 38 percent of the more than 500 vehicles parked outside garages. Under current rules, homeowners receive two warning notices before a violation becomes subject to a ne. e Board is reviewing possible updates to our CC&Rs that could strengthen parking enforcement and encourage greater compliance throughout the community. We're also pleased to share that the Champions Golf Pro Shop will soon feature a coee station, refrigerated beverages, and a selection of snacks for residents to enjoy while visiting the facility.
