14 | SUN LAKES LIFESTYLES | JULY 2026 | Our District 3 Community strongly desires to provide a very sincere and thankful gratitude for our previous District 3 President Dennis Cisterna for 10 years and the District 3 Delegate for six years and our previous Social Community Chairwoman and also in charge of the District 3 Food Drive and Winter Wish program Mical Cisterna. anks guys for your very creative and eective progress for our District 3 during your tenure. ey moved into our District in 2015 and immediately began to volunteer their time and eorts which includes initiating our District's recycling program in 2017, requesting our residents to bring their empty plastic bottles to their home or if necessary they would pick them up and then they would cash them in to receive the CA CRV deposit and unbelievably they have received $7,933 since they initiated this program. ese funds have been utilized primarily to provide for our District 3 activities which include the annual events that they have initiated, including our summer pool BBQ, our spicy Italian Bingo party, our Christmas party where everyone in attendance receives a beautifully wrapped gi and either our Valentine Day party or our Saint Patrick's gathering. As indicated these are events we anxiously look forward to each year. Dennis and Mical have enjoyed a blessed marriage for 57 years and we are sure that they have provided positive results wherever they have resided during this loving relationship.
