38 | SUN LAKES LIFESTYLES | JULY 2026 | Sun Lakes Follies Happy Fourth of July to everyone from the Sun Lakes Follies. Wow 250 years. This year's theme is "Sun Lakes Follies Presents Movie Musicals" from 1920 to 2000. All the great songs from movies we all have loved. They don't make many musicals anymore; they are a thing of the past. Our show dates are Fri., Oct. 2 at 7 pm, Sat., Oct. 3 at 7 pm and a matinee on Sun., Oct. 4 at 2 pm in the Main Clubhouse Ballroom. The ticket prices are the same at $15 and will go on sale Sept. 12 through the 30th and always at the door on the day of the shows in the Main Clubhouse Lobby. Remember this is a dinner theater seating with tables of eight. Be sure to get your tickets early for the best seating choices. This year we will be offering something new. With the purchase of a ticket to a show, you will receive a 10 percent discount on dinner in the Restaurant or brunch buffet on Sunday. Please save the dates and invite your family and friends to our Follies! Come to our general meeting on Thurs., July 16 at 1 pm in the North Clubhouse to receive the rehearsal schedule for August and September, this will be the last general meeting before rehearsals; it's very important that all members from all groups attend. At the May meeting of the Veterans Group of Sun Lakes the Sun Lakes Follies presented a check to Chris Stanley representing the Faith in Action Group for $1,000, to help build homes for our Homeless Veterans in Banning.
