32 | LIFE IN SOLERA | JULY 2026 | RV GROUP Happy Fourth of July from the Solera RV Group. The RV Group recently stayed at the beautiful Pechanga RV Resort in Temecula, Calif. Four RVs and nine people spent five days and nights camping from May 31 to June 5. The Pechanga RV Resort offers 168 full hook-up (water, sewer and electric sites), wi-fi, cable tv, fenced pet area and a host of other amenities. The Pechanga casino shuttle stops by the campground to take lucky campers to the Pechanga Casino to try to win back some of their gas/diesel money. Tony Lucchesi was the big winner of the group taking home fifty dollars on a one-armed bandit. In addition to a little bit of adult gaming, members of the RV Group enjoyed a day of wine tasting at several of the wineries in the Temecula area. RV Group members also enjoyed a night out dining at the Temecula Black Angus restaurant where two birthdays and one anniversary were celebrated. Pechanga RV Resort is another favorite camping resort of the RV Group. Plans are already being made to visit the resort next year. We are pleased to announce that one of our members is taking a seat on the Solera Board of Directors. Tony Lucchesi was officially elected on June 9 and took his seat on the Board of Directors on June 10 . Congratulations Director Tony! At our May meeting, the RV Group celebrated Cinco de Mayo with a potluck dinner after a short meeting. We had our largest turnout to date. The food was fantastic. Thank you to our amazing chefs for making your delicious dishes to share with the group. We shared some of the food with a few RACC members who were working across the hallway preparing the Oakmont Rooms for the Mother's Day event to be held the next day. The Solera RV Group meets the second Friday of every month. Ownership of a recreational vehicle is not required to be a member. Family and friends are always welcomed to join us on our camp outs. Got a fur baby or two at home? Bring them with you on our camping trips. We love animals and our animals love camping. Stop by and check us out at our next meeting. ~ Ron Monroe, Solera RV Group Leader, (909) 732-6139, email ronoap@aol.com HIGH NOTES FROM KARAOKE is year's Fourth of July is extra special as we celebrate 250 years as a country.
