Our TGIF family wish you all a safe and Happy Fourth of July as we celebrate our nation's 250 years of freedom. There will be no TGIF in July, but the celebration will continue out on the Plaza for our annual Fourth of July Party! But Get Ready For August! Did you know that hot August nights are coupled with some of the largest hot August car shows nationwide? Every August Monterey Peninsula hosts Monterey Car Week, a world stage for concourse lawns, collector auctions, rare automotive debuts and unforgettable moments. Reno Tahoe celebrates 40 years of chrome in 2026 and is the Largest Nostalgic Car Show in the world. No, we aren't going to drive our Classics into the Ballroom, but what we are going to do is dust off all those favorite "car" songs and decorate in your favorite classic car theme. From Woodies, to Muscle Mania, to Hot Rod Lincolns, let your imagination DRIVE U! June's Beach Party got us all in the summer mood, with some red, white and blue thrown in for the patriotic mood we all felt. One could feel the heat of summer, generated by our electric singers! We also celebrated several June wedding anniversaries, with three couples devoted to one another for over 50 years! The buffet table was well laden with good old fashioned home cookin, coupled with the 'not a crumb left' yummy dessert table! You are always welcome to bring your own dinner if you don't wish to participate in the shared menu items; however, know you're missing out on another huge talent within Four Seasons… cooking. (Sharing recipes has become a sidebar to our event over the years.) Whatever you decide to do, plan to BYOB, plates, napkins and utensils. (Ice and ice buckets are made available for each table.) If you've never visited TGIF, this event is well worth your time. Seize the opportunity to sharpen your vocals among supportive friends or just kick back and sway to their music.
