| Four Seasons Hemet Herald | JULY 2026 | 23 Golden Girls Ladies Club wishes everyone "250th Happy Birthday America." July Fourth represents freedom and independence for all. Women's clubs began in the mid-19th century creating clubs for both educational and social connections. Organizations empowered women to shape public policy, it was an expression of independence. The Golden Girls are a true example of that. We support each other and are an extension of our community. We continue to also extend out to our local non-profit organizations. Clubs were also created for fun and adventurous activities. Our Club Golden Girls is 45 women strong. We have presented and participated in some enriched body and mind fun activities such as: Drum Circle, Laugh Yoga, Breath Work Class and Ice Breakers (taking out time to meet and learn about our members through their back story, history and occupations). We entertain our creative minds with Theater Productions in Old Town Temecula, Ramona Theater and other locations. Movies and lunch are our simple enjoyments monthly. On July 1 we will enjoy a f lashback to the old days with a Frank Sinatra Tribute including lunch at Wilson Creek. For our members we have "Fun Friday" on the second Friday of the month in the Card Room at 1 pm. We play a variety of games just for fun. This month it will be July 10. Our calendar is always full of interesting events. We welcome new ideas and new members ALWAYS ! Our meetings are the fourth Monday of the month. This month it will be July 27 at 1:15 pm in the Ballroom. The meetings last about two hours. We start with a snack while mingling with each other, followed by introductions, an ice breaker, and an official meeting. Please call Julie Rodriguez at (951) 821-1970 with any questions. Our Motto: Having fun, being positive, staying energized and giving back to the community Golden Girls' Ladies Club Happy Campers RV Club Happy Campers meets the first Saturday of the month.
