| Four Seasons Hemet Herald | JULY 2026 | 5
July brings celebration, community,
and a milestone birthday! July is always
a special month, filled with sunshine,
celebrations, and opportunities to gather
with friends and neighbors. This year,
however, the month holds even greater
significance for me as I celebrate my 55th
birthday.
Reaching this milestone makes it official
— I can truly say that I belong in a 55+
community! While age is often said to
be just a number, this birthday marks an
exciting new chapter. It is a reminder to
appreciate the experiences that have shaped
us, the friendships we've built, and the
opportunities that still lie ahead. I really
thought it would take longer to catch up.
One of the things I enjoy most about
working in your community is the sense
of togetherness, and July offers plenty of
chances to experience it. I am especially
looking forward to the Fourth of July parade,
a tradition that brings neighbors together
to celebrate our country's independence.
From decorated golf carts and patriotic
displays to friendly waves along the route,
the parade always captures the spirit of
community that makes this place feel like
home. Thanks to the Golf Cart Club and all
the Flag Angels.
This year promises to be even more
memorable as we join in celebrating
America's 250th anniversary. The Social
Committee has been working hard to plan
what is sure to be a fantastic celebration,
and I am excited to see everyone come
together for this historic occasion. Events
like these remind us that community is
about more than where we live — it's about
the connections we share and the memories
we create together.
As I celebrate my birthday and look ahead
to the festivities of July, I feel grateful to be
part of a community that values friendship,
participation, and fun. Here's to a month
filled with celebration, laughter, and
patriotic pride.
