30 FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | JULY 2026
Facilities Committee
At our July meeting, the Facilities team will review requests for
proposals from painting contractors for areas of The Lodge spa
building including the aerobics room, gym, bathrooms, salon, and
the gathering area at the spa front entrance.
In addition, we are working with the Safety and Landscape
Committees on a couple of projects to address safety concerns and
identify the most practical and effective solutions.
Another summer priority is keeping the pools and outdoor
recreation areas in top notch condition for sunbathers, sports
enthusiasts, and summer concerts.
As part of these seasonal efforts, Facilities recently hosted a tour
of the garden sculpture area at The Lodge and shared information
about the metal statues created by artist Gail Chavenelle. Known
as "permanent paper" sculptures, these whimsical sheet-metal
pieces are designed to move and dance with the breeze, giving them
a lively, kinetic quality. FirstService staff recently gave them a
fresh coat of paint, making them a charming reminder to celebrate
summer and enjoy the outdoors.
As we celebrate America's 250th birthday, we invite you to enjoy
all the beautiful facilities and take part in the many opportunities
to relax, connect with your neighbors, and enjoy the summer.
The Facilities Committee meets on the second Wednesday
of every month. This month we meet July 8 at 9 am in the RCN
Conference Room. Homeowners are welcome to attend. If you
have a facilities question or concern, contact Shannon Shelton, our
FirstService Manager, or reach out to me directly at ginajo25@aol.
