FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | AUGUST 2026 55 June began with our Members Potluck event, and it was truly a fantastic gathering. We were delighted to see such a great turnout, with members coming together to enjoy an afternoon filled with good conversation, laughter, and fellowship. The food was plentiful, ensuring that everyone had plenty to enjoy, and the atmosphere ref lected the strong sense of community that makes our organization so special. We were also fortunate to have Viking Cruises join us as a sponsor, providing an excellent selection of wines that paired perfectly with the meal. In addition, they generously donated several exciting travel opportunities, adding an extra touch of anticipation and fun to the event. Their support helped make an already wonderful day even more memorable. July brought one of our favorite annual traditions — a trip to the Pageant of the Masters. Year after year, this extraordinary production amazes audiences with its unique blend of art, theater, and creativity, and this year's performance certainly lived up to expectations. From the breathtaking "living pictures" to the beautiful setting in Laguna Beach, the evening was nothing short of spectacular. Everyone who attended came away impressed once again by the incredible talent and dedication that make this event such a treasured Southern California tradition. As we enter August, our calendar will be a little quieter. While there isn't a club outing planned this month, we hope everyone enjoys the opportunity to relax, spend time with family and friends, and make the most of the remaining days of summer. The fun picks up again in September when we'll be traveling to Medieval Times Dinner & Tournament. This promises to be an exciting adventure filled with jousting, horsemanship, knights, royalty, and a hearty feast. Whether it's your first visit or a return trip, it's always an entertaining experience that brings out the kid in all of us. Thank you to everyone who has participated in our summer activities so far. Your enthusiasm and support are what make these events so successful. We look forward to seeing many familiar faces in September as we continue making wonderful memories together. To update your membership or for membership info, email irenewelker50@gmail.com. Music was mainly on the menu as the Singles attended the San Bernardino Symphony's annual "America the Beautiful" concert complete with fireworks on the football of San Bernardino Valley College. We also joined other residents on the lawn outside our Amphitheatre for our second summer concert, "Adele vs Bruno." Towards the end of June a large group of Singles attended The Pass Chorale's "For Honor and Glory" America 250 Celebration Concert. A special thank you to our Seasoned Singles and Pass Chorale Board Member, Cathy Goldsmith, for her work in helping present this fabulous concert. In June, we also enjoyed a delicious group lunch at BJ's Brewhouse. In July, we celebrated several member birthdays, so the fun continues! If these sound like something you'd enjoy and you're a single resident of Four Seasons, we'd love to have you join us at one of our future meetings. We meet on the first Friday of the month at 6 pm in the RCN.
