MULTI-DAY EXCURSIONS Aug. 21 – 26: St. Louis, Branson and Memphis Sept. 6 – 14: Mackinac Island and Chicago Dec. 7 – 11: New York City Christmas CAREGIVERS SUPPORT GROUP ursday, Aug. 13, 10 am in the Lounge. This support group, presented by Kristi Necochea, is designed to educate and support those who are caring for a loved one with any ailment or illness. They meet on the second Thursday of each month. HEARING AID CHECK ursday, Aug. 20, 9 to 10:30 am. This free service is provided by Johnson & Johnson every third Thursday of the month in the Clubhouse Card Room. SENIOR RESOURCE EVENT Tuesday, Aug. 11, 11 am and 1 pm in the Card Room. is event is presented by VNACare. You will learn about VA benets that may cover out-of-pocket medical costs, costs of assisted living and in-home care options, what to include in a disaster supply kit, top ten steps to take during life's most challenging moments. You will also learn about the traveling podiatry services and traveling hairstyling services that come to your home, how to safely get up aer a fall, how to report Medicare fraud in scams and documents that need to be in place as you age. RESTORATIVE YOGA WITH MELISSA - MIND & BODY Tuesdays and ursdays, 8:30 am in the Annex. If you have been wanting to try yoga, now is the time! Come breathe, move, stretch and connect with us. The cost is $15 per class. Drop-ins and beginners are welcome. New Club Interests Oceanside Senior Anglers, e Colony Chapter: A non-profit 501(c)(7) fishing club dedicated to seniors throughout Southern California and elsewhere who enjoy fishing.
