30 | Four Seasons Hemet Herald | AUGUST 2026 | Four Seasons is an ACTIVE community, and keeping active is essential for developing and sustaining health and wellness for our residents. We have established a pool club that will help us organize activities at the pool that enhance wellness, foster community, and boost quality of life. Water volleyball games take place on Thursdays at 5 pm. All residents are welcome no matter what your skill level. We began our Walk-Fit-in-the-Water activity on July 20 at 10:30 am. Walking in the water is a safe way to strengthen muscles and a fun way to meet new people. Activities in the water help residents with limited mobility or sensitive joints to stay active. So come and play with us! Or come and watch the fun. Water Volleyball Shuffleboard Sun., Aug. 2 at 3 pm will be our first combined Bocce/Shuff leboard Potluck barbecue. All residents are invited. It is a potluck, so bring what you want for your main dish and a side dish for six to eight to share and plates etc. The barbecues will be available. Ross Brunetto, Bocce Chairman, and myself are hoping this will be a fun day for everyone and will expose you to both games. We will play shortened versions of the games and then have our potluck. The Shuff leboard sign-ups will be Thurs., Aug. 6 at 1 pm in the Ballroom. The cost is still only $10 per player. Players are residents only. The few players who play on Tuesday and Friday mornings invite you to play with us. No commitment, no cost, play when you can. We play at 8 am due to the summer heat. ~ Toni Harris Chair, (951) 325-8357 Bocce & Shueboard Fun Day To all residents, come join us on Sun., Aug. 2 at 3 pm at the courts behind the spa building. This is a fun day to introduce new residents and our regular players to show others how these games are played. All games will be a short version for introduction only so that we will have plenty of time to all meet at the BBQ area where you can bring what you want to BBQ. If you would like to participate in a potluck, bring something for six to eight people. You will need your own plates and forks. We will also take a group picture of everyone and publish it in our magazine. Don't be shy, these games are very easy anyone can play. Even those with handicap abilities. Toni Harris will host the Shuffleboard area, and I will host the Bocce area. If you like, you can bring something all ready cooked, sandwiches sound pretty good also. ~ Ross Brunetto, Bocce Chairperson, (951) 926-8295 Bocce Four Seasons seniors playfully compete every Wednesday morning at 9 am on the Plaza. Anyone can play cornhole, so don't worry if you have never played. Friendly neighbors are always available to help and coach you in getting started. Come out and enjoy the fun and the company of your neighbors. Interested? Contact Dan Ramos at (503) 860- 0547, or Nancy Wisniewski at (951) 375-9937.
