Time to get your tables together and dig out those boots for Doo
Wop's annual Western-themed dance on Fri., Sept. 18. The summer
of fun, good times and dancing continues with warm weather in the
Lanai, featuring the popular Buckleys Band.
July, with its Luau theme, and August, with its Totally 80s music
played by Boogie Express, drew huge crowds that danced, sang and
mingled with friends new and old. Members seem to love bringing
their own food to share at the beginning of the evening — you bring
what you want and don't have to pay for what you don't want!
The Doo Wop Board is making plans for the Election Meeting/
Party Sat., Nov. 7.
A questionnaire will go out soon to find out what you would
like for the complimentary dinner that night. Remember, it's all
provided free, by the Doo Wop Club — including wine and beer.
With the current Board stepping down, who is willing to step up?
