ADVERTISING Contact Image Up at (909) 797-3647 • imageup1@verizon.net Serve Your Community – Consider Running for the Board of Directors As we prepare for the upcoming Annual Meeting in November, I would like to encourage homeowners who are interested in serving our community to consider running for the Board of Directors. This year, there are three (3) open positions on the Board. Each elected Director will serve a two-year term, providing an opportunity to make a meaningful and lasting contribution to your community. Serving on the Board of Directors is one of the most important volunteer roles within the Association. Board members are homeowners who volunteer their time, knowledge, and experience to help oversee the business and affairs of the Association. Their responsibilities include making decisions that protect the Association's assets, maintaining the community's financial health, planning for the future, and ensuring that the governing documents are upheld — all while acting in the best interests of the membership as a whole. Board service is both rewarding and meaningful. It offers homeowners the opportunity to share their professional expertise, life experiences, and fresh perspectives while helping shape the future of our community. Every Board member brings unique skills and ideas that strengthen the decision-making process. The Board of Directors conducts its business during regularly scheduled monthly Board meetings. The Open Session Board Meetings are usually held on the last Thursday of the month at 2 pm in the Ballroom at the Community Lodge. While Board service requires preparation, thoughtful discussion, and a commitment to the community, it is an excellent opportunity to become actively involved and make a positive difference. If you are a homeowner in good standing and have a desire to serve your community, I encourage you to consider becoming a candidate for the Board of Directors. Strong communities are built by homeowners who are willing to step forward, volunteer their time, and work collaboratively to ensure the continued success of the Association. Serving on the Board is more than attending meetings — it is an opportunity to leave a positive legacy and help preserve the quality of life that makes your community such a special place to call home. We look forward to receiving candidate applications and encourage all interested homeowners to consider this rewarding opportunity to serve.
