SOLERA DIAMOND VALLEY | OCTOBER 2026 7 The Zippers Event By Christie Clarke, Resident Hey, everyone! What a summer it's been for our amazing pickleball club! We truly made some noise on the courts, and it was fantastic to see so many of you out there. This year, we really wanted to make sure everyone had their moment to shine, so we shook things up a bit and hosted two separate tournaments: one for our advanced players and another for our intermediate folks. The competition across both levels was absolutely thrilling – truly epic rallies and some seriously impressive shots! But honestly, the best part was just seeing all of you having a blast, laughing, and playing the sport we all love so much. That's what it's all about! A massive shout-out and huge congratulations to our medal winners for their incredible performances: In the Advanced Division: • Steve Elder soared to Gold! • Keith Davis clinched the Silver! • Richard Clarke rounded it out with a well-deserved Bronze! And for our Intermediate Division: • Cindi Pena-Buck smashed her way to Gold! • Janet Davis gracefully took home the Silver! • Shirley Ferruzzi served up a fantastic Bronze finish! We couldn't be prouder of all our participants! We're already buzzing with excitement for what's next! For anyone out there who's been thinking about grabbing a paddle and trying pickleball, we wholeheartedly encourage you to come on down!
