34 | Four Seasons Hemet Herald | October 2026 | Fun & Games Bingo Join us every Wednesday night for fun and games. Doors open at 5 pm for residents and 5:15 for outside guests. We start the games at 6 pm, with a break around 7:30 pm. Bingo is over at 9 pm. It is the best value in town. It is only $7 for the game and if you need a dabber, they are only $2. If you have any questions, please contact Randy Johnson at (702) 306-3103 or Johnson3724@outlook.com. 20-20 Hand & Foot Canasta Come and join in playing the fun card game every Tuesday from 12 – 4 pm in the Multipurpose Room at the Lodge. We can't wait to meet you and you will certainly have a wonderful afternoon. We have a friendly bunch of players who are always happy to teach you the rules of the game. It is very easy to play – you will be an expert in no time. Also, for those wishing to participate, some of us bring a little sweet or salty snack to share. This is not necessary, but it is fun to stop and enjoy a little treat! Be sure to show up before noon so we can be sure to place you at a table to play. Please come and join us for a fun, enjoyable afternoon with your neighbors. For more information please contact Kay Mitchell at (909) 636-8175, tokaymitchell@verizon.net or Marilyn Anderson at (909) 228-7968, mzimel@verizon.net. Bunco Babes The ladies from the Bunco Babes continue our fun get togethers and are still at our maximum level of players. The maximum capacity for Bunco in the card room is 36 people. If you are interested in joining us please contact Paulette Defterios at (805) 701-9573. There is a waiting list that you may join. It worked out nicely, having wait list people join us as substitutes for active players that couldn't attend. If an active player is going to be absent a waitlist player will be contacted to substitute for that player for that game. The active player is then able to return for the following game. The substitute is still on the waitlist until an active person leaves the group permanently. Please be advised that the only way to be an active participant is if a current active member drops out or passes away. Our lucky most Bunco winner was Dot Gallahan. Congratulations! We were treated to some delicious goodies that were provided by Kristine Chilcote and Maggie Coleman. If you are an active participant, please be sure that you sign up for the next Bunco get together asap, so be sure to contact Lucille Gould at (909) 921-6067 to reserve your seat or notify if you can't attend. Please call by the Tuesday before game day to cancel. We look forward to seeing everyone at the next Bunco. Remember, we start the game promptly at 1 pm. The next game will be on Oct. 23. See you there! Double Deck Pinochle Join us Fridays, 9 am in The Lodge Multipurpose Room. Don't know how to play double deck pinochle? We will teach you. It is a lot of fun. Looking forward to meeting all new players, as well as welcoming back previous players. Mah-Jongg Club Please join us as we Mah Jongg - one of the hottest games around. Mah Jongg is a game originally from China that is played with beautifully decorated tiles instead of cards. We play by the rules and use the standard hands established by the National Mah Jongg League. We welcome experienced players as well as those residents wanting to learn the game. We can help you learn to play by observing our games, asking questions, and borrowing a copy of instructional guides. If watching our games has piqued your interest, we can arrange a mutually convenient time to explain the tiles, the standard hands, and the basics of the game in more detail so you feel confident in joining in on our fun. We play in the Multipurpose Room/Game Room on Mondays and Thursdays from 12:30 to 2:30 pm. Play both days, either day, or skip a day if you are on vacation or have another commitment. We look forward to seeing you soon. Please contact Valerie Odell at (410) 610-3384, valeriehodell@gmail.com or Kay Mitchell at (951) 926-6186, tokaymitchell@verizon.net, for more information.
