When houses were built, Pulte
added the paint color to the stucco;
nowadays, the stucco is painted.
Power washing your house will
remove some of the 24+ years of dirt.
It will freshen your home to a certain
extent. If you choose to power wash
your house (or not), your doors,
shutters, and window and door trim
need to be painted. ese features
have faded and need refreshing.
If you want to change the color,
choose one of the twelve color
palettes available in the oce. Drive
the community and see the dierent
combinations homeowners have
chosen. e painted houses look
great! Check in the oce to see the
available colors. A team member in
the oce will assist you. When you
paint your home, remember that
paint quality varies. During paint
inspections, DRC members have
noticed streaks. is could be due
to the paint quality used or adding
water to the paint. Better-quality
painters and paints do cost more.
Whether you paint your entire
house or only the doors, shutters,
and trim, you need to complete
a Homeowner's Improvement
Application (HIA), even when
painting the same color. Pick up the
HIA in the oce.
