| LIFE IN SOLERA | OCTOBER 2026 | 5 Welcome Committee I would like to welcome our newest committee member, Dana Lauchlan! She moved to Solera in January, and will be a wonderful addition to our team. NEW RESIDENT UPDATE: As of Sept. 2, 61 new households (97 people) have joined the Solera community in 2026. Among them is Ron Festa from Tennessee. He moved here to be close to his family, two kids, and three grandkids. He's an avid birdwatcher. Also new here are Pete and Diane Doelfs who moved here to be close to their son and two grandkids. We hope everyone found the event to be informative and enjoyable learning about so many of the great activities available here in Solera. Your feedback is welcome on how to make future events, as well as the welcome visits and welcome bags, as helpful as possible. Special thanks also go to my Welcome Committee members for their fantastic help not only for the event, but everyday helping residents learn about all our wonderful community has to offer. The team includes Cindy Bice, Margaret Bly, Karrla Hutton, Sue Karalun, Dana Lauchlan, Jodi Lindman, Jill Markman, Ann Volz, and Ronnie Zacker. Additional thanks to Rene Johnstone, Solera resident, who donated 30 Toyota of Redlands tote bags with handy items; and to Ron Monroe for donating fire blankets and emergency lanterns for our raff le. Speaking of the raff le, we raff led off 13 great prizes, and gave away five bottles of champagne and 3 bottles of sparkling cider to our Solera Trivia winners.
