12 | SUN LAKES LIFESTYLES | OCTOBER 2026 | pressing ratitude Hello, neighbors! My husband and I are new to the neighborhood and live on Moody Drive. We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to the unknown neighbor who has so kindly brought our trash can back up to our garage aer it was emptied since the rst day in our home. We don't know who you are, but we hope this message reaches you. Your kindness has not gone unnoticed, and we truly appreciate your thoughtful gesture. May God bless your comings and goings and return your kindness to you many times over. We are very grateful. ~ e Farrises ank goodness for Diane Stigall! Diane is one of the most helpful people I have met in Sun Lakes. Every Saturday morning Diane and her helpers gave free Bocce lessons at the Bocce court. Every week she makes schedules for each person who is interested so they will have time to practice and play a game to learn the rules. ere is no stress for the player and a lot of fun for those attending. Diane also helps the individual teams who need additional members, substitutes for that week's game, or people who only want to play as subs. Whenever you call her, she answers whatever request you have within a short time, with a very cheerful attitude. Diane is always calm, interested, kind and glad to help. Bocce is lucky to have her and the generosity of her time. ~ Helen Mitchell I want to provide a humongous gratitude for our very dedicated landscapers. During the last few months when the temperature has been in the high 80s and 90s, they have always continued to diligently care for our landscaping. And you never see them kicking back or lounging about. Always working, even in the heat! Recently, I noticed them trimming shrubbery on the east side of Sun Lakes at 11 am in 86 degree weather and they had already bagged up 43 bags of trash … in 86 degree heat! Every time we entertain visitors they comment on the beauty of our community. We are so blessed to possess such dedicated landscapers. Ellie and I keep cold beverages available for them when they are assigned to our area and they totally appreciate receiving them. ank you guys! ~ Ron and Ellie Kington, and, I am sure, Sun Lakes residents in general Thank Goodness If you have seen an act of kindness or have been on the receiving end, please share your experience with the community. Let's spread gratitude! Go to the Main Clubhouse Lobby and drop your note in the box labeled "Thankful and Grateful." There are forms in the Main Clubhouse or you can fill out the box below and take that to the Main Clubhouse. You can also email sunlakesnews@yahoo.com and write "Gratitude" in the subject line. Let's spread some sunshine!
