THE CREATIVE SPOTLIGHT: VICKI-ALLEN HITT
Most of my artwork is mixed media, which allows me to use pastels, acrylics, pens, papers, fabrics, and
an array of tools and stencils. This art style is freeing with no rules. Artists use a wide variety of everyday
and traditional supplies to build textures, depth, and contrast.

Are you a needlecraft enthusiast? Do you like craft fairs? If so, you might want to
check out the SoCal Fiber Fair.

Meanwhile, if you enjoy needlecrafts but would rather stay local, come by and
check out the Needle Me group. We meet on the first and fourth Friday of each
month at 1 pm and welcome anyone to stop by and see what the ladies are working
on, or perhaps bring a sample of your own handiwork to show off. We love to
